Vegetarian Means Vegan, Right?

Actually vegetarians tend to differ from what Vegans consider themselves to be. The exact reasons for why, evade me at the moment.

I eat plenty of vegetables but also enjoy eggs so I think this means I may be a vegetarian but I am not a vegan because eggs are not on their menu. I need to watch my calories and weight.

Veganism, if I may, seems to be more like a religion than just a healthy eating regime. I think the term is applied to not only eggs but even to wearing things that may have once been alive, like leather.

I have no feelings on this one way or another and think our life choices are just that, our life choices.

Does The Master Cleanse Really Help?

By Nicholas Polker

For people who want to lose weight without having to do strenuous exercise, the master cleanse diet is always at the top of their list. A slew of people have tried this diet and they are all talking about how effective it is.

The master cleanse diet is a cleansing diet that was designed by Stanley Burroughs around 50 years ago. Stanley Burroughs was an expert in alternative medicine and claimed that the diet corrected all other disorders.

The main idea of the diet to rid the system of toxins accumulated through years of unhealthy living. Together with the lemonade which is to be drunk, the dieter will also have to take in laxatives to help remove those wastes.

The master cleanse diet revolves around one central thing which is the intake of nothing but the prepared lemonade. The lemonade is created with the mixture of fresh lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper all mixed in water.

The lemon has a few benefits that could explain for why Burroughs included it in the list of ingredients. First, it had amazing cleansing properties. Second, it is full of vitamins and minerals that it has to provide the dieter since the dieter is barred from eating any solid food. Finally, it can effectively loosen mucus in the body.

Although it may take a long time to get used to, never omit the cayenne pepper from the making of the lemonade. The cayenne pepper is important for a few basic reasons. First, it looses the mucus quite similarly as the lemon does. Second, it cleans the respiratory, digestive and circulatory systems.

Finally, there is the maple syrup. The maple syrup is but a secondary ingredient in the entire recipe. It is only included for caloric purposes; so that we get the energy we need to perform daily tasks. You may reduce the amount of maple syrup depending on how much you can handle.

Remember that you will still have to couple your lemonade with laxatives since you will be deprived of fiber throughout the entire time. You can choose a tea laxative or a salt water flush but never do the two at the same time.
